Allowed working load limits according to EN 818-6 for different chain temperature:
- 40°C to 200°C = 100% | 200°C to 300°C = 90% | 300°C to 400°C = 75% |
Once the ENORM-chain has cooled down to room temperature it can be again used to 100 %.
The ENORM chain corresponds in its dimensions the requirements of the EN 818-2.
The working load limits are 25 % higher than the values for grade 8 requires as per EN 818-2 however the diameter remaines the same.
The minimum elongation at fracture is 25 % (natural black) and 20 % coulor coated and this with at the same time increased strength.
The nominal strength of 1000 N/mm2 corrensponds to grade 10 EN 818-1.
The surface of all ENORM products is powder coated turquoise.
Additionally JDT proposes COR 92 as a corrosion protection for the ENORM-round link chain. Here the thermally applied organic coating is used.
