GK 8, GK 10 oder GK 12 -which one is the right one?

Chain slings are among the most important lifting accessories for safe lifting operations in industry, mechanical engineering and heavy-duty applications. Choosing the right grade – GK8, GK10 or GK12 – significantly influences load capacity, weight and the range of applications.

GK8 (Grade 80) is the proven standard for many general lifting applications.

GK10 (Grade 100) offers approximately 25% higher load capacity with reduced self-weight, improving ergonomics and handling.

GK12 (Grade 120) provides maximum performance with up to 50% higher load capacity and is particularly suitable for heavy-duty applications, industry and wind energy.

All JDT chain slings are manufactured, tested and documented in accordance with applicable standards – ensuring maximum safety and a long service life.
