For young people a completed and qualified apprenticeship is more important today than ever before. Vocational training is the foundation stone for further developing personal and professional skills.

J D Theile GmbH & Co. KG would like to lay this foundation stone with you as part of a systematic and well-established training programme. We have been providing apprenticeships in various sectors for decades. Wide-ranging fields of application as early as during the training stage guarantee ideal preparation for working life.

We aim to take you on in professional life once you have completed your apprenticeship. Although we cannot guarantee to take on apprentices, we do take on a large number of people who served apprenticeships at our company.

We provide apprenticeships in the following apprenticeable trades:

The apprenticeship period is 3.5 years in each case. The apprenticeship normally commences following the end of the annual summer holidays. The first year of the apprenticeship is conducted externally at SIHK Hagen* as theoretical/practical lessons. During this period vocational school lessons are conducted in tandem. Following conclusion of the first year, the apprenticeship continues at JDT. During this period you will pass through the training areas that are relevant to your respective job description. Intensive external examination preparation is conducted at SIHK Hagen during the final months of the apprenticeship. The apprenticeship ends once the examination is passed at SIHK Hagen.

The apprenticeship lasts for 3 years. It commences in each case on 01.08. of a respective year. During the apprenticeship you will pass through all commercial and technical departments relevant to the job description of an industrial manager. The vocational school lessons are conducted in tandem on a 1 to 2 week basis at Hansa-Berufsschule, Unna. The apprenticeship ends once the Dortmund Chamber of Industry and Commerce examination has been passed.
Intensive external and internal support is offered for preparing for the examination.
