J.D. Theile manufacture since the beginning of the 90s welded chain slings for use on containers for offshore applications. During the years the brand JDT came to a widely known supplier for chains according to DNV-ST-E271 application.

Since many years we are type approved by DNV and are able to supply our high quality chains in different markets all over the world.

A new step forwards has been done when JDT launched the ENORM (grade 100) chains into the market. We got the type approval for this new material as well and supply our slings, with an increasing share and great success to our customers in the offshore industry. Less weight and a very good wear resistance in the hard environmental conditionsare the big advantages of the ENORM chainslings.
